Fig Tree Pocket is one of Brisbane’s most green and tree-filled suburbs. It was named for the large fig tree that grew in the area. Located in a bend on the Brisbane River, it’s home to one of Brisbane’s most loved attractions, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The suburb consists of dominantly large properties and is roughly 13 KM from the CBD. The Indooroopilly shopping centre is only a 10-minute drive from the Figtree pocket, enabling easy access to the cinema, local bus hub, and shopping.
